Daniel J. Connolly

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Kahneman-Treisman Center for Behavioral Science and Public Policy at Princeton University. In the spring of 2025, I completed my Ph.D.  Behavioral Decision Research in the Department of Social and Decision Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. I study how people form judgments about important topics (like economic inequality) from their everyday experiences. I also study how these judgments evolve as people's memories for their experiences change over time. 

Prior to graduate school, I worked at ideas42, a behavioral science nonprofit focused on social impact.
